Christmas is over.
The family has gone and now it's just us again.
All-in-all it was a pretty good holiday, in my opinion. There was a lot of food and stuff like that.
Santa brought me the cell phone I wanted :D :D :D
So I've spent these past couple of days playing with it and trying to figure everything out.
Also, Tanner and I teamed up with my cousin to form the band, Justin's Girl. We are currently VERY big in Europe.
Rock Band is awesome.
It is totally going to stink to have to go back to school and work and all that kind of stuff.
Anyway. Now I'm counting down to our Ruidoso ROAD TRIP!!!! Which will be awesome.
I'd also like for Michael to come home.
I miss him!!
We're also supposed to be going to see Trans Siberian Orchestra in concert on Friday.
Awesome.
;D
Ok so Christmas was good.
I'm glad we have the house back though. Time for me to move my stuff back into my bathroom.

MacLeod Christmas Capers
So basically Tanner and I rock at Christmas shopping.
We braved Wal-Mart this afternoon in the midst of a serious rush at about 1:15. I am proud to say that there were no cart collisions or any other types of ugliness. We managed to get gifts for each other, my dad, my mom, our cousin and Michael. Plus we got stocking stuffers for my mom and dad.
And let me tell you.
They are incredible!! Haha.
We basically ran around Wal-Mart and grabbed all kinds of cheap, random junk and threw it into the cart, basketball-style.
So yeah. That was great.
Then I went over to Michael's and chilled with him, Paul and Alan. It's really funny because every time I wear a DBU t-shirt over there, Paul is always wearing one of his DBU t-shirts. Which is awesome. Go D-Bap!!
Ahaha..
So all-in-all, good day. I also managed to get every one of my presents wrapped and under the tree. As artistic as Tanner is, he sucks at wrapping.
My present that he wrapped basically has wrapping paper crunched around it and then is completely covered in tape. He then taped a bunch of random crap to it. Like pieces of cardboard, a pencil, a used eraser and some plastic thing..

Summary
::sigh::
Alright here we go.. The past couple of days have been OK.
Yesterday I just kinda hung out and helped my mom with the house after I got back from SCS and bringing Tanner Wendy's. Then Rollin came to the house for a visit, it's been forever since we've seen him so that was really really exciting. We had a good talk, I'm happy to see that he's doing well. My parents love him, it's really funny. Then I went to Michael's for a bit to visit.
It was really funny.
Alan was making these toys for his nephews out of PVC pipes and strings. He was making like swords and bow staffs and stuff. It was really funny because Paul, Michael and I were trying to tell him that if he gave those to two 11 year-old boys (twins) that they were going to beat the crap out of each other with them. He was just like, "boys will be boys!" So that was fun.
Then I picked up Jessica and some dinner and we went to Kaitlin's house to spend the night. We watched the top songs of the 90's and we recognized most of them from when we were in like elementary school and Jr. high. Then this morning we made pancakes and I went home.
Then Mom and I did some Christmas shopping. We just got home and I am sooo tired. Which is bad because now I have to go and lead worship for 720. Ughh.. Tired!!
But whatever. It'll be fun, I'm sure.
Afterwards we'll head to Michael's house and chill for the rest of the night.
Awesome.

Who needs 6 Flags when you have estrogen?
I think that one of the most frustrating aspects of being a woman is the occasional inability to control your own emotions.
For the past two days I have been on a (hormonal?) emotional roller coaster with no end in sight. I get really angry sometimes because I know that the way I react to things isn't how I normally would. It's like I'm watching myself from a different place and I'm going, "Who is that girl? That's not me! What is going on here?!" And it's terrible.
But thankfully, I think that I'm going to be better tomorrow. Just a feeling.
I just wish that days like these wouldn't happen... It's not fun for me, and even less fun for everyone else who has to deal with me.
But anyway...
I went and checked on Michael today. He seems to be feeling a lot better than he was on Sunday night and Monday. Hopefully he'll do OK at work tomorrow, I'll be praying to that end.
I'm also planning to bring Tanner lunch tomorrow at SCS. I want to see some of my old teachers and let them know how college is treating me. That's the plan.
So, here's to hoping that my emotions stay in check for awhile!
Ah the joys of being a woman. I have this strange feeling that it only gets worse as you get older.. Something to look forward to!!

Blogging would be more interesting...
If my LIFE were more interesting.
Ok.. So the past couple of days have been spent sitting in my living room watching crappy daytime TV and waiting for Michael to get well.
I lead a thrilling life.
Today I sat around, went and got Taco Bueno for lunch and then went with Jess to Barnes and Nobel.
Then I came home and vacuumed so that the house would look nice for when my grandfather and great uncle Bob came over.
And that was basically it.
aslfkja;lwejtawlekskfj
This is NOT how I wanted to spend my break.
I'm quite grumpy. But perhaps tomorrow will be a better day.
I'm just to nervous to call Michael or text him because I don't want to wake him up if he's sleeping. So I guess I'll wait until he calls me tomorrow and then maybe I'll go check on him.
Girl's sleepover is in the works. So hopefully that happens.
Night!

Short and Sweet
I went to Tanner's choir concert this afternoon.
He was the best one there!!!
Hopefully the directer didn't mind when I wolf-whistled when Tanner came out...
Or when I yelled "How 'bout them Cowboys?" when the concert was over.
I was a born heckler... My father taught me well!!
Also, Michael is sick. Which means I only saw him for church and then after work I told him to go home and go to bed. Hopefully he'll feel better soon, I miss him!! Also, I hate it when he's miserable because I want to take care of him but I can't.
Anyway, pray that he feels better soon because he's pretty miserable.
Not sure what the plan is for tomorrow... Maybe Jess and I will hit Barnes and Nobel. I haven't been there in forever and I NEED some hot chocolate and a pretzel.
So that's my day in a nutshell!
I'm also crossing my fingers for snow!! It seems like a waste to have heavy rain and freezing temperatures separately on two different days.. If both of those things happened on the same day we'd have some awesome snow!!
Until tomorrow...

With my last bit of strength...
I'll post this blog, before I drop dead of exhaustion.
Today has been quite a day. Kaitlin and I threw a party for Michael, Clayton and Jessica because all three of their birthdays fall in the month of December.
It was fun.
We made them all individual cakes... Clayton's was a jar of Peter Pan crunchy peanut butter (his favorite)
Jessica's was a pan of brownies
Michael's was a bunch of ice cream sandwiches with whipped cream on top
And everyone got fun party hats and costumes. We played Guitar Hero III and watched The Office.
I miss just chilling with my friends. We haven't been able to all get together in such a long time, so to me it still feels a little forced and strange. It's almost like we have to get used to one another again. But maybe that's just me. It was fun either which way.
But now, after 30 minutes of clean-up. I'm pretty exhausted. It's one thing to go to a party... It's another thing to HOST the party. And since I'm an adult now, my parents don't need to help with prep or clean-up. So it was all on me, and we made quite a mess. Thankfully, Michael stayed to help me even though he's feeling pretty sick.
I don't know what I would do without him.
As promised, here's just a couple of pictures from tonight. I'm hoping to beg Tanner enough so that he will take all of our pictures and video and make us something nice to watch.
And of course, a couple's shot <3

Happy Birthday Michael!!!
Today is Michael's 19th birthday!!
(I can just hear Tanner screeching, MIIIIICHHHAAEEEELLL!!!! I hope his throat gets better soon, we miss hearing that!)
I called Michael this morning and sang Happy Birthday to him while he was at work. And then my dad showed up at home and I told him that it was his birthday so Michael should get the Birthday-Taunting that he probably hoped to avoid by not telling anyone at McKinney that it was his birthday. But I say, where's the fun in that??
His whole family is in town to celebrate so I'll be going over to his house tonight for the festivities. Tomorrow we do the "friend party" because Jessica will be home (ja;lskjw;eltawjYAY!!!!) and it's the day between Michael's birthday and hers. Everyone will probably come over to the house and Kaitlin and I will have some fun little gifts for them and I'll bake some brownies.
I find that as we get older, birthdays become less of a big deal. Which I think is sad.
I mean, birthdays are basically a built-in excuse to have a party.
And I'm always up for a party.
But anyway I am excited to celebrate the day when the world went from being a world WITHOUT Michael Davis to a world WITH Michael Davis.
Mostly because I can't imagine my world without him..

My first foray into the blog-o-sphere...
Well, this is terrifying!
Just looking at this empty page tells me that I could ramble on infinitely and no one could stop me.
That is a dangerous thing. I'll try to reign it in.
So thanks to my brother, I have entered into the world of blogging. I have never done this before, I'm not even a MySpace blogger or a Facebook Note-poster. The last experience I've had with blogging was when it was cool for everyone to have a xanga and post their thoughts and experiences for everyone to read.
I'm not sure if any of the younger set even remember xanga, it was basically wiped out when MySpace came along. But before then, EVERYONE had a xanga and ranted and raved on them about their lives.
Hopefully it won't come to that here.
So here I am, blogging novice but excited to be part of the online journal community.
Hopefully I'll have something to say that people will want to read.
I somehow doubt it..
